What is Long Gone Heroes about?
Titled “Long Gone Heroes”, this high-octane, breath-taking action-thriller chronicles the journey of a retired special forces officer as he embarks on a mission to rescue his niece from a secretive private organization.
In the narrative, a soldier named Gunner, who has seen the grim realities of his country and warfare, finds himself compelled to return to the battlefield in South America to rescue his niece who has mysteriously vanished. As the conflict escalates, it’s revealed that her abduction is connected to a clandestine private operation, which disturbingly impacts Gunner personally.

As a gamer, I’ve been lucky enough to step into some high-octane roles on the silver screen. From Edge of Darkness to The Grey, Zero Dark Thirty, Beyond Skyline, Point Blank, and beyond, I’ve made a name for myself in heart-pounding action flicks. Not only that, but I’ve also had the privilege of portraying Brock Rumlow in three movies set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Endgame.
In the upcoming movie, Grillo will be joined by Hutcherson, who is famous for his performances in Zathura: A Space Adventure, Bridge to Terabithia, The Kids Are All Right, The Disaster Artist, and The Hunger Games film series. The rest of the Long Gone Heroes cast includes Eden Brolin (Candy Land), Mekhi Phifer (Lights Out), Melissa Leo (The Equalizer), and Andy Garcia (Ocean’s Eleven).
Apart from premiering in theaters on September 20th, the movie “Long Gone Heroes” will also become available for streaming on demand and digitally on the very same day.
