As a seasoned gamer and Pixar enthusiast with decades of memories entwined with these beloved characters, the release of LEGO Pixar: BrickToons feels like a long-awaited reunion with old friends. BrickToons” is a fresh collection of short cartoons showcasing beloved characters from Pixar, such as Merida (from Brave), Dory (from Finding Nemo), and Dash (from The Incredibles), all made using LEGO.

When is LEGO Pixar: BrickToons coming to Disney+?

On September 4, 2024, you’ll have the chance to watch all five episodes of LEGO Pixar: BrickToons exclusively through streaming on Disney+.

“Unite with some beloved LEGO Pixar characters for brand-new escapades!” The storyline goes, “Croon with Miguel in the realm of the deceased, assist Merida and her siblings through a tricky bear-related predicament, embark on an exciting school excursion alongside Nemo, Marlin, and Dory, witness the Parr family’s attempts to safeguard their neighborhood from Syndrome, and team up with Mater as he readies Lightning McQueen for his upcoming race!”

The voice cast for LEGO Pixar: BrickToons has not been revealed at this time.

In this LEGO series, shorts based on five Pixar films have been produced – Finding Nemo (released in 2003), The Incredibles (2004), Cars (2006), Brave (2012), and Coco (2017). After Finding Nemo, a sequel called Finding Dory was released in 2016. The follow-up to The Incredibles, titled The Incredibles 2, came out in 2018. There have been multiple Cars movies and spin-offs, such as Cars 2 (2011), Planes (2013), Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014), and Cars 3 (2017). Currently, work is being done on a fourth Cars movie.

Pixar’s recently released film was titled Inside Out 2, premiering in U.S. cinemas in June 2024 and now accessible on digital streaming platforms. Their upcoming movie is Elio, slated for summer release next year. The voice cast of Elio features Yonas Kibreab, Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, and Zoe Saldaña.

After that, the release date for Hopper is set for March 6, 2026, and Toy Story 5 will come out on June 19, 2026.
