Tim Curry Acting Return Set in Horror Movie Stream

As a gamer with a penchant for horror movies and a deep appreciation for the legends of the silver screen, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the news that Tim Curry is set to return to the big screen with the upcoming horror movie “Stream”. With over five decades of acting experience, including iconic roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and It, Curry has left an indelible mark on the genre.

Legendary Hollywood figure and terror-filled screen icon, Tim Curry, is preparing for his comeback on the big screen – this time in a chilling film. More than a decade since his last role in a feature film, the actor will make an appearance on the cinema screen once more with the forthcoming horror movie named Stream.

50-plus years since the premiere of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” (1975), the longtime actor reappears in the horror genre with the release of Stream, following his previous appearance in 2010’s black comedy “Burke & Hare.”

When is Stream coming out?

Michael Leavy’s film, Stream, will premiere in selected theaters on August 21, 2024. Besides his famous portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the actor is also recognized for his role as Pennywise in It.

The director confided in Varity that it was challenging to maintain the secrecy surrounding Curry’s participation in the movie.

Leavy expressed great joy and excitement about having Tim return to movies and the big screen for our film ‘Stream’. His charisma consistently gleams through his performances, making it an honor to have him on board. Growing up, he was a role model I admired deeply, and working with him on this meaningful project is a significant career milestone for me.

Curry has a significant number of notable roles such as Muppet Treasure Island, Legend, Clue, Congo, Times Square, Annie, Kinsey, The Hunt for Red October, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and The Three Musketeers, among others.

Since experiencing a major stroke in 2012, Curry has redirected his energies towards voice acting roles such as those found in Gingerclown, Saving Santa, Axel: The Biggest Little Hero, Ribbit, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and various other productions.
