Recently, Jr NTR made headlines due to an announcement from his team about the actor sustaining a severe hand injury. Subsequently, a report by a film journalist at Dainik Bhaskar suggested that this injury would necessitate a 2-month break for Jr NTR, thus potentially pushing back his upcoming projects.
Currently, Jr NTR stepped foot at Hyderabad’s airport for the first time, following reports of his injury and rumors of a hiatus. Accompanying him was his wife, Pranathi Lakshmi.
In the video, Jr NTR is visibly wearing a cast on his left hand, suggesting he’s injured. He can also be observed dragging his suitcase with his uninjured hand. Additionally, his wife is clearly seen by his side as they both enter the airport terminal together.

On August 14, 2024, it was disclosed by Jr NTR’s team via an official statement that the actor had sustained a minor wrist injury on his left hand during a gym workout. To prevent further damage, doctors have recommended he wear a cast to immobilize the affected area for a while.
As someone who has had my fair share of injuries during workout sessions, I understand the frustration and disappointment that comes with being sidelined unexpectedly. I can only imagine the feelings Mr. NTR @tarak9999 must be experiencing right now after sustaining a minor sprain on his left wrist while working out in the gym.
Regarding Jr NTR’s work commitments, he has wrapped up shooting his scenes for the forthcoming movie titled Devara Part 1. This film, directed by Koratala Siva, is scheduled to release in theaters on September 27, 2024.
In addition, the movie introduces two Hindi actors, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, to the Tamil or Telugu film industry for the first time. Notably, Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead role, while Saif Ali Khan assumes the main villain character in the storyline.
