Here’s the shocking reason Naisha was eliminated in Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE

As a seasoned gamer and avid fan of reality shows, I must admit that the turn of events in Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE left me quite surprised, to say the least. Naisha Dos Santos’ elimination was not due to her talent or lack thereof, but rather a seemingly minor infraction that snowballed into a major issue.

“Stream now on Netflix: ‘Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE,’ where 20 promising young talents from around the globe compete to potentially join HYBE and Geffen Records’ inaugural global girl group. However, the contest is fierce, as only six spots in the group are up for grabs. Over eight episodes, we witness the journey of contestants who face elimination due to their performance throughout the season.”

Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that Naisha Dos Santos, a Brazilian-Spanish contestant, was dismissed for unique circumstances. Initially among the 14 contestants at the competition’s onset, she caught our attention early on. In episode 3, after all evaluations were complete and no one had been eliminated, Missy, our senior talent and development program manager, gathered everyone in the conference room to address an unexpected issue.

It came to light that the competitors maintained personal Instagram profiles, which breached the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) they agreed upon and confidentiality regulations. Yet, the apprentices didn’t view this as a concern, as they intended to post pictures and videos exclusively for each other, despite having an audience beyond the competition following them.

Instead of viewing it as an additional problem, what truly troubled Missy was when Naisha uploaded a video of herself singing one of the show’s original songs onto Instagram. Given this significant breach of rules, Missy, HYBE, and Geffen Records concluded that they had no choice but to terminate her contract. Missy then summoned Naisha to one of the studios and explained that by sharing a performance of an original song on social media and attracting followers from outside the program, she was forced to make the difficult decision to remove her from the project.

At first, Naisha contends that the number of followers attributed to her isn’t accurate, going so far as to show a screenshot of her follower count. However, Missy is skeptical and states she has already examined Naisha’s account. In the end, Naisha acknowledges the situation and departs.
