According to reports, HighZium Studio confirmed on August 21, 2024, that Song Joong-Ki and Chun Woo-Hee will star as the main characters in their upcoming K-drama titled “My Youth.” This romantic series revolves around two people who reconnect after a decade, reminiscing on shared memories from their youth.
Actor Song Joong-Ki portrays the character Sunwoo Hae, a talented florist and novelist who seeks a new beginning following difficult times in his personal life. Once a popular child actor, he encountered a fall from grace due to corrupt adult influences and greed. In time, Sunwoo Hae reconnects with Sung Je-Yeon (played by Chun Woo-Hee), who is knowledgeable about his past struggles and assists him in adopting a refreshed outlook on life.
