Having grown up on the chilling landscapes of Silent Hill and the eerie exploration of Little Nightmares, this new title promises to be another feather in my cap of survival horror experiences.
At the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024 event, Tarsier Studios unveiled their upcoming project – REANIMAL. This chilling adventure game revolves around a duo of siblings who embark on a mission to save their friends and escape from a perilous island. The game is slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
In the debut trailer for the game REANIMAL, we get a glimpse of the eerie island that forms its backdrop, teeming with unsettling creatures. This title offers both single-player and multiplayer (both local and online) experiences. Tarsier Studios characterizes REANIMAL as an “Imaginative Horror Journey”, where you navigate a shattered island by boat and on foot, employing stealth tactics and your intelligence to evade danger.
REANIMAL, much like the Little Nightmares series, employs a dynamic side-scrolling layout, allowing its characters and beasts to traverse both the foreground and background within a single level.
