Goat Simulator: Remastered revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Goat Simulator: Remastered at Gamescom Opening Night Live has brought a chuckle to this old dog. Back in 2014, when the original Goat Simulator first graced our screens, it was a breath of fresh, albeit goaty, air in an industry often taking itself too seriously.

On Tuesday during Gamescom Opening Night Live, there were some unanticipated announcements, one of which was an upgrade to the original Goat Simulator. Known as “Goat Simulator: Remastered,” this update is being heralded by Coffee Stain Studios as “the cutting-edge in goat simulation.” The team is currently working towards a 2024 launch.

Goat Simulator: Remastered offers an enhanced version of the original Goat Simulator, boasting improved visuals along with an abundance of bugs as promised by Coffee Stain Studios. Despite potential technical glitches, all downloadable content from the first game will be included in this remake – a variety that originally featured collaborations with Payday and DayZ.

2024 marks the arrival of an upgraded version of Goat Simulator, titled “Goat Simulator: Remastered.” Expect it on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Additionally, this enhanced game will debut simultaneously on Xbox Game Pass.
