DayZ devs have finally released hotfix 1.25, but duping exploits remain rampant

As a long-time DayZ enthusiast who’s seen more than a few server wipes and patches, I can’t help but feel a sense of deja vu reading about the ongoing duping issues in the latest 1.25 update. It seems like we’ve been here before, haven’t we? The dev team promises to fix the exploits, the servers go down for maintenance, and then… well, not much changes.

Bohemia Interactive, the creators of DayZ, have rolled out the anticipated update 1.25, which was intended to address the widespread duplicating glitches. However, according to some player testimonies, these persistent issues are still surfacing on official servers, leading to complaints that this latest patch has failed to enhance the gameplay experience.

After the development team announced server outages on platform X (previously known as Twitter), several disgruntled players have filled its comment section with posts. One of these players, Timmyboicxnt, mentioned that duplicating items in-game had not been addressed. Later, royle715950 asserted, “Duplication is still possible on official servers. You postponed a update for two weeks to tackle the duplication issue, and it remains unresolved.”

Though there’s been an increase in player complaints, Bohemia Interactive hasn’t responded yet, leaving us uncertain about whether they will issue another hotfix to tackle these issues.
