Actor Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for a return to the big screen next year on September 5, 2024, with his movie titled “The Greatest Of All Time.” Recently, he and the film’s producers had the honor of visiting the home of the late Captain Vijayakanth to pay their respects.
Venkat Prabhu, the director, posted the photos from their visit to Premalatha (Vijayakanth’s wife) and her sons, which also included the superstar.

It’s worth noting that at the unveiling of the GOAT trailer, the director disclosed that the movie features a cameo created by AI as a tribute to the cinematic legacy of the late actor, Vijayakanth.

This thrilling sneak peek showcases the lead actor portraying not just one, but two roles: father and son. As the video unfolds, it reveals exhilarating action sequences that leverage advanced de-aging technology on the actor.

The main character in this movie is Vijay, but it also stars other well-known actors such as Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, and many others in significant roles. The story revolves around Gandhi, a previous spy who used to be the best agent of an anti-terrorist unit known as SATs.
With the past revisiting him once more, the man finds himself compelled to grapple with his dark past lest it grows into a threat for him and those around him. Apart from the film’s teaser, the creators have also released three songs from the movie, with the final one titled “Spark,” masterfully crafted by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Regarding the professional side of things, Thalapathy Vijay will soon team up with director H Vinoth for what’s being referred to as Thalapathy 69, which is rumored to be his final film.
