The Pokémon World Championships are like a pilgrimage for us trainers, and the fact that they’re going to be held in California not once but twice within three years is just… mind-blowing!

The 2024 Pokémon World Championships concluded in Honolulu, Hawaii yesterday, with the Pokémon also revealing the dates and locations for both the subsequent years. It was announced that the Pokémon World Championships will take place in Anaheim, California in 2025, followed by San Francisco, California in 2026.

The Pokémon Company has released a video detailing where the following two Pokémon World Championships will be held:

I’m pumped to share that I’ll be visiting both Anaheim and San Francisco for two consecutive years, as they’ve been chosen to host Pokémon Worlds! Last year, I battled it out in sunny San Francisco, and this time around, it’s Anaheim’s turn. Can’t wait to see what the next two tournaments have in store!

2024’s Pokemon World Championships concluded with a reveal that the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will debut by the end of October. To explore further updates from Pokemon Worlds 2024, visit our Shacknews X platform.
