Horizon: An American Saga’s first chapter will premiere for streaming on Max this coming Friday, August 23rd. Following its global debut at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, the movie has garnered a blend of positive and negative critic reviews. As of now, it boasts an Audience rating of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on more than 2,500 verified assessments.
In the initial release, Costner takes on both directing duties and co-writing the script with Jon Baird.
