And Kung Fu Games, featuring Jade Xu, a three-time Wushu/Kung Fu world champion, promises to deliver the high-octane action I crave!
Today, Tiger Style Media unveiled their plans to launch a fresh epoch in martial arts filmmaking by developing four upcoming movies, two of which have already had previews.
When do Tiger Style Media’s Lady Scorpions & Kung Fu Games come out?
Tiger Style Media, established by Oscar-nominated producer Shannon McIntosh (Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood), is dedicated to paying tribute to traditional English martial arts films while infusing them with fresh, innovative elements. On August 23, 2024, the action-packed double feature of Lady Scorpions and Kung Fu Games will be screened in selected theaters. These two movies, which star elite fighters from around the world, will then become available digitally starting September 3, 2024, with Lady Scorpions premiering on that date, followed by Kung Fu Games on September 10, 2024.
As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that the action-packed film, Lady Scorpions, showcases martial arts legend Cynthia Rothrock (also known as Lady Dragon) alongside world champion Caitlin Dechelle (Wonder Woman). The movie is masterfully directed by Bruce Del Castillo, with a screenplay penned by H. Daniel Gross, who has been instrumental in producing and co-writing all four Tiger Style Media movies. Stephen Carolan and Castillo also contributed to the script.

This thrilling adventure features martial arts masters like three-time Wushu/Kung Fu world champion Jade Xu, also known as the Black Widow, alongside Mark Strange, Dechelle, Jose Manuel, Matthew Goodwin, and Lathrop Walker. The game is helmed by director Ryan Jaeger, who collaborated with Gross on the script. McIntosh, Gross, and Jaeger are producing this action-packed extravaganza! Can’t wait to dive in!
