As a long-time fan of Dead By Daylight, I must say August has been nothing short of a dream come true! The collaboration with Castlevania and the Alien franchise is truly mind-blowing, especially with the upcoming release of DBD x CastleVania on August 27th. But let’s not forget about the imminent arrival of The Casting of Frank Stone on September 3rd – I can hardly contain my excitement!
As a long-time fan of Dead by Daylight, I am absolutely thrilled about the exciting collaborations that the game has lined up for this year. August seems to be shaping up as the best month yet, with not one but two fantastic partnerships in store. First off, we have the highly anticipated DBD x Castlevania collaboration, which promises to bring a new level of excitement to the game.
Looking ahead, there’s much excitement for the upcoming days of Dead By Daylight! The third CastleVania chapter is set to drop on August 27th, and BeHaviour has shared details about Dracula’s killer perks as well as Trevor Belmont’s survivor perks. As we move into September, we eagerly await the release of The Casting of Frank Stone on the 3rd.
We absolutely cannot wait for CastleVania and The Casting of Frank Stone, but tomorrow we are getting a Legendary skin for Alien Romulus. This skin features the likeness of the actress playing Rain, and a DBD leak shows that it also features the actress’ vocals for the voice lines.
Dead By Daylight leak reveals Alien Romulus skin voice lines
On August 16th, the extraordinary Legendary skin for the Alien Romulus character in Dead By Daylight will be available. Remarkably, this launch aligns with the premiere of the film in theaters.
With this legendary skin, Ellen Ripley gets a fresh new look. Unlike the Ellen Ripley skin, the soon-to-be-released Rain skin will showcase the image of actress Cailee Spaeny.
I’m thrilled to share that not only does this game showcase her likeness, but the actress herself has contributed her exceptional voice talents to the character’s voice lines. Interestingly, sneak peeks of these voice lines have found their way onto the LeaksDBD subreddit. The source of the leak can be traced back to a trusted leaker, Dvveet. It’s great to hear that the voice and likeness of the actress who played Rain from the movie will be included in DBD, as many fans of the game were let down by last year’s Ellen Ripley survivor. Despite BeHaviour Interactive not being responsible for this, fans were disappointed that the iconic actress, Sigourney Weaver, wasn’t portrayed in the character.
Speaking of the leaked dialogue attributed to Rain’s character, some of her lines are intriguing, such as “What is this place?”, “How did I end up here?”, “I need to return”, “Where is my team?”, and “Is that thing also present here?”. It’s exciting that these lines seem consistent with the plot of Alien: Resurrection, and even more so because they are genuine words from the actress herself.
