In a fresh twist of romantic comedy, “Fly Me to the Moon” features Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson in lead roles. This space-themed movie was masterfully directed by Greg Berlanti and premiered in US cinemas in July 2024. Now, you can enjoy it at home by renting or buying it on platforms like Amazon Prime Video and others.

The exclusive Fly Me to the Moon clip sees Tatum and Johansson, among others, discuss how they went about making the movie, which is about a handful of NASA employees attempting to create a fictionalized version of the moon landing. 

Screenwriter Rose Gilroy explains in the video that there was actually a significant discussion about whether to air the moon landing live, and it’s from such genuine experiences that we drew inspiration for our scriptwriting.

What is Fly Me to the Moon about?

The movie “Fly Me To The Moon” features Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum in a fast-paced, fashionable romantic comedy, taking place amidst the thrilling atmosphere of NASA’s Apollo 11 moon landing. In the storyline, Kelly Jones (Johansson), a marketing whiz hired to improve NASA’s public image, causes chaos and complications for launch director Cole Davis (Tatum) who is already dealing with a challenging mission. With the White House considering the mission critical, the clock starts ticking as we witness an exciting race against time…

According to the tale by Keenan Flynn and Bill Kirstein, the production of Fly Me to the Moon is handled by Johansson, Flynn, Jonathan Lia, and Sarah Schechter. Robert J. Dohrmann assumes the role of executive producer in this project.

In addition to the lead actors, you’ll find Ray Romano, Woody Harrelson, Jim Rash, Anna Garcia, Donald Elise Watkins, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, and Nick Dillenburg gracing the screen in this movie.
