The story revolves around two longtime friends, architect Choi Seung-Hyo (played by Jung Hae-In) and project manager Bae Seok-Ryu (portrayed by Jung So-Min). Growing up, their mothers were the best of friends, leading to plenty of shared time between them. As they reconnect as adults, they reminisce about their past and find themselves drawn closer together. Concurrently, viewers can enjoy streaming this series on Netflix.

Playful Kiss

Playful Kiss is a story about Oh Ha-Ni (played by Jung So-Min), a schoolgirl who adores Baek Seung-Jo (Kim Hyun-Joong), the popular and perfectionist student. Despite her feelings, he consistently turns down her affections. When her home gets damaged, she and her father move into the house of his friend – coincidentally, Seung-Jo is the friend’s son. As they live together, Ha-Ni and Seung-Jo grow closer, with him eventually returning her feelings. The series premiered on September 1, 2010, and can now be streamed on Netflix, Viki, and Amazon Prime Video (in certain regions).

My Father is Strange

The hit South Korean series titled “My Father is Strange,” which debuted on March 4, 2017, centers around a family consisting of husband Byun Han-Soo, wife Na Yeong-Shil, and their four children: Hye-Yeong, Mi-Yeong (Jung So-Min), Ra-Yeong, and Joon-Young. One unexpected day, a man named Ahn Joong-Hee (Lee Joon) appears, claiming to be another one of the sons. This former idol subsequently moves in with the family, adding an interesting twist to the series, which can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

Because This Is My First Life

As a huge fan of Korean dramas, I have to say that Because This Is My First Life is one of my all-time favorites. The story follows the lives of two individuals who find themselves unexpectedly living together and eventually falling in love. Nam Se-Hee (played by Lee Min-Ki) is a 30-something bachelor still paying off his mortgage, while Yoon Ji-Ho (portrayed by Jung So-Min) is a struggling single woman envious of those who have settled down.

Alchemy of Souls

The enchanting K-drama titled “Alchemy of Souls” made its debut on June 18, 2022, with two captivating seasons following. This drama takes place in a fictitious land called Daeho and focuses on a band of mages as they navigate the complexities of an outlawed spell and alter their destinies. Jung So-Min portrays Mu-Deok, a character inhabited by the spirit of the assassin Naksu. The cast also includes Lee Jae-Wook, Hwang Min-Hyun, Shin Seung-Ho, Oh Na-Ra, and others. Fans can enjoy streaming this series on Netflix.
