Major Update on Roman Reigns After His Return

As a long-time fan who has witnessed Roman Reigns‘ meteoric rise and reign as the Tribal Chief, I couldn’t be more thrilled about his recent return! The way he single-handedly took out The Bloodline last Friday on WWE SmackDown was nothing short of spectacular. It seems that Solo Sikoa underestimated the power of the Big Dog, and now he’s going to have to face the consequences.

At the WWE SummerSlam event held in Cleveland, Ohio, the highly anticipated comeback of WWE star Roman Reigns took place. Previously filling the role of Tribal Chief, Reigns squared off against Solo Sikoa during the SummerSlam event.

At SummerSlam, Sikoa challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Title, before the match he proclaimed himself as the new Tribal Chief. During his battle with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns stepped in to confront him.

Following a fight that cost Solo Sikoa his bout against Cody Rhodes, Reigns clashed violently with him and The Bloodline last Friday on WWE SmackDown. What’s more, Reigns managed to single-handedly defeat the entire Bloodline all by himself.

Starting from WrestleMania 40, Sikoa has assumed control over The Bloodline, adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the group. This revamped Bloodline subsequently expelled Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso, which led Roman Reigns to reappear and face off against his brother.

With Reigns making a comeback aiming to regain his title from Solo Sikoa, there’s been some insight into WWE’s strategies after his return.

What’s next for Roman Reigns?

As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share some intriguing insights from Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio. He’s hinted at Roman Reigns’ upcoming plans following his return! It seems WWE has two significant matches lined up for Reigns in the near future. Meltzer mentioned, “Roman Reigns will be around until it’s the perfect time to pair him with Jacob Fatu. While I can’t confirm if Fatu is injured, everything that’s unfolding was planned this way. I believe they want Roman to face Solo first, and then take on Jacob Fatu afterwards.”

During SummerSlam, it turned out that Jacob Fatu had been acting out an injury after performing a splash onto Cody Rhodes through the commentators’ table. Later reports revealed that this was just part of the script in WWE, as they aimed to avoid a conflict between Fatu and Reigns.

Last week’s WWE SmackDown saw Jacob Fatu’s absence, as Reigns confronted The Bloodline. Meltzer hypothesizes that significant bouts between Reigns and Solo Sikoa, as well as Jacob Fatu, may be in the works by WWE. Keep an eye out for when these match-ups might take place!
