Based on yesterday’s sneak peek from Boss Team Games, the creative minds at WayForward Technologies have unveiled the initial pair of titles for an all-new series — RetroRealms: Halloween Edition and RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead. These games will be offered individually in a digital format or as a combined physical edition known as a “double-feature.”

On October 18, 2024, you’ll find two exciting games: RetroRealms: Halloween and RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead. These games will be playable on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Enjoy the spooky season with us!
The two games share similarities as they are platformers reminiscent of 16-bit era, boasting a swift, retro-inspired arcade feel. One game, titled Halloween, immerses players in the role of Michael Myers and characters hailing from the 1978 original film, aiming to vanquish an omnipotent evil that has corrupted the world. Simultaneously, Ash vs Evil Dead places Ash Williams against Deadites and other recurring figures from the STARZ-original series. Both games offer a diverse array of locations inspired by their respective source materials.
As an enthusiast, I’ve discovered that two captivating games I adore have a unique link between them. This connection allows for additional gameplay perks, such as transferring my favorite characters seamlessly from one game to another, expanding the gaming experience.
