Actor Jared Padalecki, who is known for his work in supernatural series, has been added to the cast of the popular CBS drama “Fire Country” in its third season. He may take on a leading role in a potential spin-off titled “Sheriff Country,” starring Morena Baccarin, who played Deadpool’s companion in other projects.

What to know about Jared Padalecki’s Fire Country Season 3 role?

Previously starring on The CW’s Walker series until its cancellation earlier this year, Jared Padalecki has now been cast as Camden. This character is a firefighter known for his rebellious yet charismatic demeanor. He’s a formidable figure who quickly discerns the uncultivated ability of the main character Bode (portrayed by Max Thieriot). According to recent reports, Padalecki will make an appearance across three episodes in this new role, but there’s a possibility that his involvement could expand further.

As reported by Deadline, Padalecki will initially appear in Fire Country Season 3 as a recurring character. Given his extensive background as a prominent television actor, including roles like those on Gilmore Girls and Supernatural’s Sam Winchester, there is speculation that Padalecki could potentially transition into the upcoming Sheriff Country spin-off, which stars Baccarin. However, these discussions and possibilities are currently in their preliminary stages. The premiere of Sheriff Country is scheduled for the 2025-26 television season on CBS.

It’s also been verified that Jensen Ackles (Padalecki) will join forces with Supernatural’s creator, Eric Kripke, in The Boys Season 5. The role he might play hasn’t been disclosed yet.

Fire Country features Max Thieriot in the lead role as Bode Donovan, who has previously starred on shows like Bates Motel and SEAL Team. This drama follows a young offender seeking redemption and an early release from prison by joining a wildfire fighting program in Northern California. Partnered with skilled firefighters to combat massive, uncontrollable wildfires across the region, Bode and his fellow inmates aim to make amends for their past mistakes. According to the official summary, the show also stars Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer.

Fire Country Season 3 will premiere on CBS on October 18. The creators are Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, and Thieriot, who also serve as executive producers alongside Tia Napolitano, the showrunner, and Jerry Bruckheimer and Kristie Anne Reed from Jerry Bruckheimer Television.
