Meet South star Suriya who secretly worked at a garment factory without revealing his identity as the son of an actor

As a lifestyle expert, I find Suriya to be an exceptional embodiment of determination, humility, and versatility in the world of cinema. His unique journey from being a garment factory worker to becoming one of the most respected actors in the South Indian film industry is truly inspiring.

As a die-hard fan of the South Indian film scene, I can’t help but sing praises for the one and only, Suriya. His magnetic presence and undeniable talent have earned him a devoted following that stretches far and wide across our beautiful nation. Currently, I find myself buzzing with anticipation over his latest project, Kanguva, which promises to be yet another masterpiece from this cinematic genius.

Contrary to popular belief that success in films is often inherited, Suriya, the son of renowned actor Sivakumar, has earned his own recognition through dedication and perseverance. Interestingly, you might not know this, but he initially showed little interest in joining the film industry. Let’s delve into an intriguing aspect of his life that may surprise you.

For those unfamiliar, it was back in 1997 that Suriya started his acting career with the hit film “Nerrukku Ner”. Initially, he wasn’t particularly keen on delving into acting.

Following graduation from Loyola College with a B.Com degree, Suriya chose to conceal his lineage as the son of Sivakumar. Instead, he took on anonymity and spent six months laboring at a textile factory in Tiruppur. Throughout this period, his real identity remained unknown to everyone around him.

Eventually, Suriya disclosed that he chose to work at a factory due to his uncertainty regarding a career in the film industry.

As a dedicated follower, I’m eagerly anticipating Suriya’s upcoming pan-Indian venture, Kanguva, scheduled for release on October 10, 2024. This exciting project promises to be available in 38 languages and will see the actor bring to life seven distinct characters within a captivating fantasy thriller.

On August 12, 2024, the creators of Kanguva unveiled the eagerly awaited trailer, sending shivers down the spines of fans thrilled by Suriya’s fresh and formidable persona.

The movie showcases talented actors not only from its own industry but also from others like Bollywood, such as Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. According to IMDb, “Kanguva” is a tale that spans over 500 years, starting in the 1700s and reaching up to 2023. It follows a Hero who must complete a task that was left incomplete.

Beyond my current engagements, I’m thrilled to be delving into my upcoming project, provisionally named “Suriya 44”. This masterpiece is being skillfully guided by the visionary director, Karthik Subbaraj.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share a bit about my beloved star, Suriya. Off-screen, he’s deeply in love with the radiant Jyothika, and together they make the most beautiful family. Their bond has been fortified by two precious gifts – a son and a daughter, whom they both cherish dearly.
