2004 saw the release of an action-packed thriller film titled “Mass” in Telugu. This movie was helmed by director Raghava Lawrence and produced by Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios. The principal cast includes Nagarjuna, Jyothika, Charmy Kaur, Raghuvaran, and Rahul Dev. With its riveting action sequences, compelling narrative, and exceptional acting, “Mass” was a massive success and stands among the top-grossing films in Nagarjuna’s career.

The story centers on Mass, an orphan who has a strong friendship with his companion, Aadi. Mass develops feelings for Anjali, a university student and Satya’s daughter, who happens to be a crime lord in Vizag. Yet, Anjali’s brother Seshu, a merciless criminal, attempts to keep them apart. Heartbreakingly, Aadi meets his end while attempting to prevent Seshu from tearing the couple apart before their wedding day.

Consumed by grief over his friend’s demise, Mass transforms himself into Ganesh and covertly infiltrates Satya and Seshu’s criminal organization to exact revenge. One by one, he removes the members of their mafia, culminating in a heart-pounding finale where he confronts Seshu and is ultimately reunited with Anjali.

At present, Nagarjuna is preparing for the premiere of a movie he’s starring in alongside Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna, titled “Kubera.” This highly anticipated film is being helmed by the skilled director, Sekhar Kammula. (His previous role was in the film “Naa Saami Ranga.”)
