At the recent Disney D23 Expo, the Simpsons crew dropped some exciting news: yours truly is getting four brand new episodes that have never been seen before, and these will only be available on Disney+! The cherry on top? The very first one’s going to be a festive holiday special, just in time for the season!

At this year’s D23 Expo, I learned some exciting news about my favorite series! Two out of the four upcoming episodes will be a heartwarming two-parter, titled “O Come All Ye Faithful“, set to premiere on December 17. Can’t wait for the holiday spirit!
According to the Simpsons team, the upcoming episodes named “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet” are scheduled to be aired in the coming months as well.
Disney+ has previously housed The Simpsons in its collection from the very beginning, but this marks the initial occasion where they possess unique episodes that will not be broadcast by Fox.
The End Of Simpsons On Fox?
The series was extended up to the year 2025 in the year 2023, indicating that it will continue airing on Fox until at least the completion of Season 36. However, the specifics regarding the collaboration between Fox and Disney+ beyond this point are uncertain. It’s possible that The Simpsons may transition entirely to the realm of streaming platforms after that.
