As a dedicated fan since their debut days, I can hardly contain my excitement for fromis_9’s upcoming mini-album “Supersonic”! Having been through their incredible journey, it’s heartening to see them back after a year with another masterpiece. The summer vibes and groovy beats hinted by the tracklist have me ready to dance all day long!

In a short while, the band fromis_9, managed by Pledis Entertainment, will debut their upcoming mini album titled Supersonic. Prior to its eagerly awaited launch, details about the release date, time, and tracklist for the EP named “Supersonic” have been made public.

After a year’s hiatus, the K-pop group fromis_9 (comprising Roh Ji-Sun, Song Ha-Young, Lee Sae-Rom, Lee Chae-Young, Lee Na-Gyung, Park Ji-Won, Lee Seo-Yeon, and Baek Ji-Heon) is set to make a comeback. Their 2023 offering was the studio album titled “Unlock My World”.

Pledis Entertainment is set to debut their upcoming album for 2024 on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST). This equates to 5 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), 2 a.m. Pacific Time (PT), 10 a.m. British Summer Time (BST), and 2:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST). The album will be available on all major music streaming platforms. Simultaneously, the title track’s music video will premiere on HYBE Channels YouTube at the same time worldwide.

The catchy tunes and the title suggest that this will be a summer-themed album, filled with fresh melodies and groovy beats. Can’t wait to hear it!

Among the three fresh tunes, “Take a Chance” is the longest, spanning three minutes and 29 seconds. On the other hand, “Supersonic” and “Beat The Heat” are more concise, lasting two minutes and 54 seconds each. Despite their brevity, these song durations align with current K-pop trends, where many fourth-generation groups opt for shorter tracks as a popular choice.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but marvel at fromis_9’s latest masterpiece, “Unlock My World.” In its debut week alone, it managed to sell an astounding 190,594 copies and claimed the coveted fifth spot on the Circle Album Chart. But that’s not all! Even in Japan, it sold over 10k units, securing a respectable seventh position on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart.
