Following his Emmy nomination for season 2 of “The Bear” on “The Walking Dead”, actor Jon Bernthal’s upcoming project, “Daredevil: Born Again”, has been given a release date. According to Variety, Marvel revealed exclusive footage (not yet released publicly) and set a release date in March 2025 for the Disney+ series at their recent event in Anaheim.
In the anticipated series “Daredevil: Born Again,” it’s said that Matt Murdock (Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who have long been adversaries, will put aside their superhero personas to help the people of New York instead. Regardless of their good intentions, the consequences of their past actions are expected to re-emerge and impact them.
In 2022, Marvel’s shows such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher were transferred to Disney+. This was the initial time these mature content series were available on the streaming platform. As a result, they introduced an age restriction feature due to their content’s maturity.

The forthcoming series will feature Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, and Ayelet Zurer in new roles. Among them, Ayelet Zurer is set to portray Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, a character previously acted by Sandrine Holt.
Jon Bernthal reprises his role as the Punisher
Previously, Jon Bernthal played the character Frank Castle/Punisher in season 2 of Daredevil, a role that later led to his own show called The Punisher. Fans have eagerly anticipated seeing him back in this role, and now their dreams have been fulfilled since Bernthal has confirmed he will appear in the new Daredevil series titled Daredevil: Born Again.
Enthusiasts of Taran Tactical got a thrill when actors Jon Bernthal and Thomas Jane, who previously played The Punisher in the 2004 film, participated in tactical training together. Bernthal himself verified at GalaxyCon Raleigh that they trained together for the upcoming series.
