Over the past few days, Telugu actor Raj Tarun has found himself embroiled in a series of contentious events due to unwanted scrutiny on his personal life. His popular role as Tiragabadara Saami hasn’t shielded him from legal trouble, as his ex-partner lodged a complaint against him, leading to an FIR being filed.
Recently, the Telangana High Court has approved an anticipatory bail for Raj Tarun regarding a cheating accusation made by Lavanya on August 9th.
Justice Juvvadi Sri Devi indicated that the actor must present himself at the Narsingi police station headquarters within a fortnight. Afterward, upon signing a personal bond for an amount of twenty thousand rupees and providing two individuals who will pledge similar amounts as sureties, he will be granted bail.
Additionally, as reported by TOI, Raj will need to meet with the Station House Officer (SHO) every Saturday over a period of 8 weeks, or until the submission of the chargesheet.
Previously, I found it necessary to approach the High Court for anticipatory bail in the case levied against me. In essence, I anticipated a potential arrest and decided to secure bail ahead of time. As reported by Times Now, the actor from Orey Bujjiga clarified that Lavanya has accused another man in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, he disclosed that she is also dealing with a drug abuse case.
The dispute started after Lavanya, Raj Tarun’s former girlfriend and cohabitant, lodged a complaint of infidelity against him at the Narsinghi police station. She claimed that Raj was involved romantically with his acting partner, Malvi Malhotra.
In addition, Lavanya claimed that the actor had made false wedding vows and then deceived her afterwards. Subsequently, Raj responded to these accusations by also accusing Lavanya of extortion. He stated that she was under the control of harmful substances.
