And boy, does Hold Your Breath look like it’s going to deliver! The atmospheric images and the haunting synopsis have me intrigued, especially with Sarah Paulson at the helm. I’ve seen her act circles around many, and this role seems tailor-made for her talent.

Searchlight Pictures has unveiled the authentic images titled “Hold Your Breath” from their forthcoming psychological horror-thriller, featuring Sarah Paulson of American Horror Story fame.

“During the devastating dust storms of the 1930s in Oklahoma, a woman named Paulson becomes certain that a menacing force poses a threat to her loved ones,” is one way to paraphrase it for easier understanding.

When is the Hold Your Breath release date?

On October 3, 2024, I’m thrilled to share that “Hold Your Breath” will make its debut, exclusively on Hulu. This film is the brainchild of directors Will Joines and Karrie Crouse, with a screenplay penned by Crouse herself. The talented cast includes Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amiah Miller, and Bill Heck. The production is spearheaded by Alix Madigan and Lucas Joaquin. Can’t wait to dive in!

Paulson has just taken on her first major film role in four years following her work in Aneesh Chaganty’s suspenseful horror movie Run. Currently, she is set to star in multiple upcoming movies such as Mirrah Foulkes’ I Am Symbil alongside Elle Fanning, Pam McKinnon’s Cybourne Park featuring Anthony Mackie, and Aisling Walsh’s Ethel’s Orchestra with Whitney Peak – all of which are yet to enter full production. Most recently, Paulson has been cast in the legal drama series All’s Fair, marking a reunion with her long-time creative partner Ryan Murphy.

Currently, Moss-Bachrach’s latest acting role was as Cousin Richie in Season 3 of The Bear, for which he won an Emmy. At present, he’s working on Marvel Studios’ upcoming project, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, where he will portray the live-action character Ben Grimm/The Thing.
