As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the absence of a post-credits scene in Borderlands doesn’t disappoint me in the slightest. In fact, it’s quite refreshing to see a movie that knows when to call it quits and not drag out its runtime unnecessarily.
Is it possible that there’s a scene following the credits in Borderlands? Given that many movies now include post-credit scenes as a way to hint at future installments or introduce fresh characters, fans are curious if Borderlands is among them.
As a longtime fan of the Borderlands series, I can confidently say that the post-credits scene and potential sequels are definitely worth discussing! Having played through each game multiple times, I’ve grown attached to the characters and the world of Pandora. The post-credit scene leaves us with many questions about what could come next for our favorite Vault Hunters, which is exactly what keeps me hooked. It’s not every day that a video game series manages to keep me on the edge of my seat in anticipation like this one does! I eagerly await any news regarding future sequels and can’t wait to see where the story goes next.
Does Borderlands have an end, mid, or post credits scene?
Borderlands does not have an end or post-credits scene, but it has a mid-credit scene.
In this part of the movie, Claptrap amusingly performs a dance number that he calls a hidden “Easter egg.” After this humorous scene, the rolling credits cover him up, signaling the end of the film’s amusement. Audience members can feel secure leaving the cinema once the credits resume, as there is no more content to follow.
As a fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the mid-credits sequence in Borderlands! Unlike some other fantasy and superhero movies that seem to never end with their post-credit scenes, Borderlands keeps it short and sweet, clocking in at just 1 hour and 40 minutes. However, if you’re like me and were hoping for a sneak peek of a sequel or new characters after the credits, fear not! The creators have hinted at future installments, so stay tuned!
As a passionate gamer and die-hard fan of the Borderlands universe, I can’t contain my excitement after learning that Randy Pitchford, the mastermind behind Gearbox Software, has revealed plans for numerous Borderlands films! He’s eager to bring back some of our favorite characters from the game series, who were conspicuously absent in the first movie.
The movie concludes by showing Lilith turning into a fiery being and flying off. While there could be more adventures for the characters in the future or potential spin-offs within the Borderlands Cinematic Universe, these stories might not necessarily follow the main group. To clarify, the scene after the credits, where Claptrap is dancing, does not hint at a direct sequel.
In the barren world of Pandora, a band of unlikely heroes sets out to discover the fabled Vault. Navigating treacherous terrains, confronting rival factions, and battling terrifying beasts, they embark on a risky journey for untold riches and mysterious power. The movie hit the big screens on August 8, 2024.
