As someone who has been through the trials and tribulations of waiting for games to release on various platforms, I can empathize with those eagerly anticipating Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The idea of exploring this expansive new world is tantalizing, but as a seasoned gamer with a not-so-shiny PS4, the looming question remains: Will it run smoothly on my console?

Well, worry not, because the game will be released for last gen consoles on September 17.
But there’s a problem.
Performance Issues On PC
In April 2023, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came out for current generation consoles and personal computers. However, the PC version of the game has been plagued with performance problems since its release, which have yet to be adequately addressed.
The console version got better with time, but you can’t play the game on PC without FPS drops.
It might be wise to hold off on your pre-order until the official release on September 17, as there’s a chance the developers haven’t optimized the resource-heavy game for last generation consoles yet.
Before you invest $49.99 in this game, it’s advisable to keep in mind that it may not perform as smoothly or effectively as desired upon its launch.
