Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? episode 4 recap

In the opening of Episode 4, I find myself in a tricky spot as Rasterizer B. Vanessa shifts her focus towards Kai and Rinne, who are now center stage. Rinne lunges at Vanessa with an attempt to seal her powers, giving Kai a chance to flee. But alas, the dark empress’s might is overwhelming. She retaliates against Kai with a lethal spell, leaving me worried that he may have met his end.

In a frenzy, Rinne transforms into a manifestation of disorder. Though Vanessa is awestruck, she warns Rinne that her uncertainty resulted in Kai’s demise. Enraged, Rinne intends to cast a fatal spell on them both. Yet, her powers are dwindling, while Vanessa’s intensify. She assaults Rinne, but Kai steps in at the last moment to shield her.

As a gamer, I summon a meteor to crush Kai, but he deftly disintegrates it with CodeHolder. In response, I attempt a counterattack, but he subtly indicates for the lights to be extinguished, outwitting me in the dark. With the element of surprise on my tail, I find myself at his back, honed by skills from another world. Caught off guard, I fall before him and am defeated.

1) In the following scene, we learn about Vanessa and Sid’s bond as the empress concealed the sword. Jeanne and Falin show up, and Jeanne shares her intention to abandon Urza in order to rescue the enslaved settlements controlled by various races. She requests Kai and Rinne to accompany her, and they agree. The story concludes with Kai and Rinne preparing for their departure.
