Oh, my dearest fellow adventurers, I must say, the release of these Baldur’s Gate 3 statistics has sent me down a nostalgic, pixelated memory lane! It seems I am not alone in my affection for Shadowheart and Astarion, as their charm has captured the hearts of countless players. Though, I must admit, I was rather surprised to learn that Scratch received more cuddles than the adorable owlbear cub – perhaps it’s a testament to his resilience and tenacity?
It’s been a full year since Baldur’s Gate 3 was released, and Larian Studios is commemorating the occasion with an exceptional celebration.
They’ve shared details about the decisions players made throughout their gameplay, shedding light on the number of players who pursued specific characters for romance and the ways they concluded the storyline.
Who Did What With Whom?
The pet who received the greatest number of affectionate pecks is none other than Shadowheart, boasting over 75 million smooches! Astarion follows closely behind with a respectable 15 million kisses, while Minthara finds herself at the bottom of the list with just a little over 170 thousand.
1.1 million gamers opted to engage in a gritty battle against the mindflayer Emperor, contrastingly, 658 thousand chose to interact with Halsin. Interestingly, about 70% of players preferred to confront Halsin in his human form, while a more daring 30% went up against the bear version itself.
Over the past year, you’ve kissed your partners approximately 75 million times. Give them some space, those kisses might be wearing them out.

Adorably, the tiniest owlbear cub known has been affectionately stroked approximately 41 million times, whereas sweet Scratch enjoyed a massive 120 million embraces.
The statistics about the endings were also revealing. 1.8 million players betrayed the Emporer, and 3.3 million players blew up the Netherbrain. 200k of them decided to let poor Gale blow himself up for that.
Decisions, decisions.
How did your Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough end?

1. Among the chosen classes, it’s the Fighter that comes in third, followed by the Sorcerer in second, with the Paladin leading the pack in first. In terms of races, Human ranked third, Half-Elf took second, and Elves claimed the top spot as the most popular choice.
1. “How have you impacted these figures?” (Influence instead of affected, as affect suggests a feeling or emotion rather than an action)
