Hounds of War Trailer Sets Release Date for Frank Grillo Revenge Movie

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for action-packed films, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon witnessing the Hounds of War trailer. The adrenaline-fueled scenes, reminiscent of my favorite tactical shooter games, have me yearning to jump into the fray.

XYZ Films has now released the formal trailer for their upcoming action-thriller, “Hounds of War,” featuring Frank Grillo from The Purge series.

“This movie follows a group of elite soldiers-for-hire, famously known as ‘The Hounds.’ Their creator has tasked them with one last mission, a meticulously designed trap, intended to bring about their demise.”

When is the Hounds of War release date?

Beginning September 20, 2024, you’ll be able to rent or buy “Hounds of War” digitally. This action-packed film is the work of director Isaac Florentine, with a screenplay penned by Jean Pierre Magro. Alongside Grillo, you’ll see Robert Patrick (from “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”), Rhona Mitra (“Doomsday”), Steven Elder (“The King”), Yvonne Mai (“Vikings: Valhalla”), Joey Ansah (“The Bourne Ultimatum”), Lee Charles (“Gangs of London”), Mark Strange (“Ip Man 4”), Raha Rahbari (“Blackbird”), Leeshon Alexander (“Blood on the Crown”), and many others.

Apart from Hounds of War, Grillo is currently slated to appear in the upcoming horror thriller titled Werewolves alongside Katrina Law and Lou Diamond Phillips. This project is scheduled for release this year. Additionally, he will be seen as Rick Flag Sr. in the Creature Commandos animated series and the Superman movie starring David Corenswet, both of which are highly-anticipated projects from DC Studios.
