Meet actor who started as child artist, called out makers for using body double in intimate scenes with Dhanush, and is married to a superstar

As an ardent admirer of the exceptional talent that is Nazriya Nazim, I find myself constantly captivated by her journey, not just as an actress, but as a strong-willed individual who stands firm against adversity. Born into a typical Malayalam-speaking Muslim family and starting her acting career at a tender age of 12, she has proven time and again that age is merely a number when one possesses the determination and passion she does.

She hails from the Southern film industry and is a youthful actress known for roles in both Malayalam and Tamil movies. Her acting career started back in 2006 when she first appeared as a child artist. Not only is she admired for her screen work, but also for her striking appearance and fashion choices off the screen.

In another version, this actor publicly criticized a well-known director for employing a stand-in during an intimate scene when she declined to participate. She found her current partner on the movie set, and it was there their relationship flourished. At one point, they faced criticism due to their significant age difference, but their love overcame every obstacle. The individual being discussed is Nazriya Nazim.

Who is Nazriya Nazim?

Nazriya Nazim, born on the 20th of December, 1994, hails from a traditional Malayalam-speaking Muslim household, with her father being Nazimuddeen and mother Begum Beena. She grew up alongside her brother Naveen Nazim. The family initially resided in the UAE before relocating to Trivandrum, now known as Thiruvananthapuram.

Nazriya Nazim called out makers for using body double in intimate scenes

In October 2013, Nazriya made news when she filed a complaint against movie director Sargunam with the Commissioner of Police. She claimed that he harmed her reputation by shooting an intimate scene for the film “Naiyaandi” featuring Dhanush and a body double instead of her.

As stated in an article from Filmy Beat, Nariya declined participating in an intimate scene alongside the actor Rayyan. However, director Sargunam insisted on including this scene and instead employed a stand-in performer to film it.

In response, Sarkunam held a press conference and forcefully disputed the actress’s actions, stating they were merely a ploy for inexpensive attention-seeking.

After viewing the movie ‘Naiyaandi’ on a special screening prior to its public premiere, the actress who played Maad Dad subsequently approved the film’s distribution for release.

Nazim expressed his certainty that no alternate actor (body double) was utilized in the movie. Consequently, he has no further complaints regarding the producer or the movie’s distribution.

Two years after her debut, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the enchanting Nazriya grace an album called “Yuvvh” by Sony Music Entertainment, sharing the stage with none other than the captivating Nivin Pauly. The popularity of this album simply skyrocketed!
