As a lifelong WWE fan who has witnessed countless twists and turns, I must say that the recent developments between Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan have left me utterly spellbound! The drama at SummerSlam 2024 and its aftermath on Raw were nothing short of electrifying.
At the WWE SummerSlam 2024 event, Dominik Mysterio, astonished everyone by switching allegiances, joining forces with Liv Morgan instead of Rhea Ripley. The animosity between them escalated further on WWE Raw, as it seemed that Rhea Ripley was taunting Dominik Mysterio about his masculinity.
The events unfolded as Damian Priest publicly accused Finn Balor of his treachery during SummerSlam. In response, Balor acknowledged this accusation live on-screen, announcing the arrival of the latest members of The Judgment Day: JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Liv Morgan.
Following the treachery, Damian Priest was primed for a one-on-one battle against JD McDonagh. However, during the bout, Finn Balor suddenly assaulted Priest, resulting in disqualification. The New Judgment Day subsequently pounced on the ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Despite being outmatched, he managed to fend off all his assailants and nearly subdued Finn Balor. On the brink of executing a Razor’s Edge on Finn Balor, Liv Morgan interfered, paving the way for Dominik Mysterio to strike Priest instead.
Amidst all the commotion, Rhea Ripley sprinted into the ring to help Priest and confront Morgan and Mysterio. As they tried to flee, Ripley caught up with Liv Morgan, but Dominik Mysterio eluded her grasp. With Mysterio having escaped, Ripley chose to focus on undermining Dominik Mysterio’s masculinity instead.
Rhea Ripley responds to Dominik Mysterio’s retreat
Previously crowned WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley intervened for Damian Priest by confronting Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Though Dominik managed to flee, Ripley seized Morgan and shoved her into the ring post twice. Next, she moved the announcers’ desk aside with the intention of ramming Morgan through it. However, Dirty Dom intervened and rescued Morgan from being sent through a table.
During the pandemonium, videos taken by fans popped up online showing Dominik Mysterio standing among the spectators, seemingly doing nothing as Ripley attacked his girlfriend, Liv Morgan. This particular clip seemed to catch Ripley’s eye, leading her to publicly question Mysterio’s courage.
