What is the Borderlands movie about?

Title character Lilith, a renowned bounty hunter known for her enigmatic past, is compelled to revisit the turbulent planet Pandora, which is infamous as the galaxy’s most chaotic world. Her objective is to locate the vanished child of Atlas, the most potent villain in the cosmos.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming Borderlands movie is helmed by none other than Eli Roth, who collaborated with Joe Crombie on its screenplay. The star-studded cast includes the incredible Cate Blanchett portraying Lilith, Kevin Hart stepping into the role of Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis as Tannis, Jack Black as Claptrap, Ariana Greenblatt as the spirited Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus, Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx, Olivier Richters as Krum, Edgar Ramirez as Atlas, and Bobby Lee as the humorous character Gary. I can hardly wait to witness this epic adaptation!

The ensemble is further expanded with Haley Bennett, Cheyenne Jackson, Charles Babalola, Davis, Steven Boyer, and Ryann Redmond joining the cast. The production is overseen by Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions, alongside Erik Feig from Picturestart. Randy Pitchford, founder of Gearbox, and Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, are serving as executive producers.
