Screenwriter and co-producer Kanika Dhillon found inspiration in classic thrillers for this movie. “We’ve taken things up a notch,” Dhillon shared. “I’m a fan of Khoon Bhari Maang [1988], and I’ve always wanted to pay tribute to that film through my writing. The scene in the trailer where a crocodile appears beside their boat holds personal significance for me. Crafting the world of Haseen Dillruba was an enjoyable experience. The audience previously indicated they are prepared for daring narratives. Consequently, we shouldn’t shy away from providing them with something unconventional,” she concluded.
