In a recent conversation, this talented actor from Thallumala disclosed that he was diagnosed with ADHD but views it as a powerful asset rather than a challenge, leveraging it to boost his abilities.

During a conversation with Manorama Online, Shine Tom Chacko openly talked about his diagnosis of ADHD. At the age of 40, he shared that one of the primary traits of this condition is the person constantly trying to gain focus and always feeling compelled to do so. He explained, “I have ADHD. I’m an ADHD child. It’s a recognized disorder. People with ADHD often aim to draw others’ attention.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve often pondered upon the similarities between actors and individuals with ADHD, myself included. It seems that the inability to remain confined indoors is a trait shared by many in the acting world. Instead, they opt to don their finest attire and venture out into the limelight, captivating audiences wherever they go.

Near the end of his interview, Shine Tom Chacko shared that he doesn’t view Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as a problem in his life. In fact, he considers it a valuable asset and regards it as his top quality. He went on to say, “To others, ADHD might seem like a disorder. But for me, it is my greatest strength. Just like someone might say ‘a stain can be good,’ right? It may not apply to everyone, but for me, ADHD has been extremely beneficial.”
