They began cohabiting shortly after this, and in 2009, they got married. During the early stages of their relationship, Lee often went partying, which caused frustration for Amanda. Additionally, the couple frequently argued due to Lee’s unstable employment situation.
Following Amanda Antoni’s passing, authorities identified Lee Antoni as someone they wanted to question further. According to the documentary, it was revealed that Lee and Amanda originally planned a trip together to Saskatchewan. However, at the last minute, Amanda chose to stay home due to her migraines. While en route to his mother’s house, Lee maintained contact with Amanda. His concern grew when he didn’t hear back from her for an entire day. Upon reaching his residence in Calgary, Lee tragically discovered Amanda’s lifeless body in the basement.
