However, it’s important to note that setting this up initially requires a Nexon account and linking all of your devices together.
How to enable cross progression
In The First Descendant game, to enable cross-progression (or cross-save), you’ll first need a Nexon account and the capacity to access their website for linking your platforms. Begin by signing in to The First Descendant and navigating to the settings menu.
- Go to the Account tab in the Settings
- Under Manage Account, click the Link button beside Link Account
- Click the Link Nexon Account button to be direct to the Nexon website
On the main website, you’re required to input your chosen email address and fill out the provided form. This process involves two main stages: first, verifying your email address using a unique confirmation code sent to that address. In case you can’t locate this specific page, I recommend checking out the official Nexon login page instead.
Once you’ve verified your email and finished the required actions, you’ll be returned to the game. At this stage, you’ll observe that the Account Settings indicate “Nexon Account Connected”. The following action will be to connect any additional platforms where you plan to play.
Navigate to Nexon’s connection page. Here, you’ll find a list of all the platforms that can be connected to your Nexon account. Feel free to connect as many as you prefer, but remember to focus on those for cross-progression. To do this, simply click “Connect” and then approve the action.
Once completed, all your chosen accounts will be connected to your Nexon account, enabling you to resume playing The First Descendant without interruption. Simply open the game on another platform whenever you wish to change platforms, and you’ll notice that cross-progression/cross-saving is enabled, allowing you to continue from where you last played.
