This talented performer gained widespread acclaim and recognition thanks to the incredible success of his movie, RRR. However, Jr NTR had once spoken up about an unheard phase of his life, when he silently battled on with depression.
During a past interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan as he was promoting the movie RRR, Jr. NTR reminisced about battling depression when his films didn’t perform well financially. He humbly referred to himself as an ‘inexperienced little child’ who felt lost at times.
Initially, Jr. NTR made his entry into the movie industry at the tender age of 16 with his debut film titled Student No. 1. Looking back on that period, he shared, “There were movies that didn’t succeed, and I felt down. It wasn’t because the films weren’t successful, but because as an actor, I was perplexed. I was uncertain about my role and what steps to take.”
As the discussion neared its close, Jr NTR candidly shared some reservations that emerged in his professional journey, even as he was gaining recognition in the film industry. He opened up on questioning his future accomplishments due to the constant apprehension of a potential downfall.
In his twenties, Jr NTR’s career underwent a significant change when he met the mysterious director, SS Rajamouli. This influential figure urged him to reflect deeply on both his personal life and professional path, as expressed by Jr NTR himself.
Currently, Junior NTR’s schedule is jam-packed, boasting multiple movies at various stages of production. The first project on the horizon is the action-drama film by Koratala Siva, titled Devara: Part 1. This movie features Janhvi Kapoor as his co-star.
Additionally, he’s primed for his first appearance in Bollywood, sharing screen time with the renowned actor Hrithik Roshan in the forthcoming movie titled War 2.
In his private sphere, the actor is contentedly wedded to his spouse, Lakshmi Pranathi. They prefer a quiet lifestyle and aren’t particularly active on social platforms. Together, they are parents to two boys.
