As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for both music and Korean culture, I can barely contain my excitement about IVE’s performance at Lollapalooza Chicago this year! With their impressive track record, including their successful U.S. tour earlier this year, it’s clear that these talented ladies are ready to conquer the international stage.
In 2021, the up-and-coming K-pop band IVE is set to make their U.S. debut at Lollapalooza Chicago, a highly anticipated American music festival. The band has officially announced their performance date for this exciting event.
At the 2024 Lollapalooza Chicago, several K-pop groups are set to dominate the stage. On August 2nd, Billboard chart-topper Stray Kids will headline at Grant Park, Chicago. Other artists scheduled for that day include SZA, Zedd, Reneé Rapp, and additional performers.
IVE to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago
On this coming Saturday, August 3rd, IVE – Daesang’s triumphant K-pop group – is scheduled to take the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago. The performance is set for 5 PM Central Time (3 PM Pacific Time and 6 PM Eastern Time) in Grant Park. Tickets for this music festival can be purchased on the official website. A single-day general admission pass will typically cost around $155, while VIP tickets for a day are priced at approximately $600.
At IVE’s first major festival showcase since their debut, fans can expect a fresh, band-style performance that sets it apart from their past music stage appearances. This unique setlist promises to provide a refreshing respite from the summer heat at #IVEPALOOZA.

Although IVE hasn’t graced American music festivals thus far, they are well-known among US fans, having successfully toured the United States during their Show What I Have 2024 world tour. In March alone, they played more than six concerts across the country, performing at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Dickies Arena in Texas, and wrapping up their U.S. tour at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Following their U.S. stint, the band of girls ventured to different European nations, playing in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. Their 2024 global tour culminated at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on July 28.
Additionally, IVE made headlines this year with the release of one of their top-performing albums. Prior to kicking off their globally anticipated concert tour, they unveiled their new EP titled “Ive Switch” on April 29, 2024.
The reaction to IVE’s latest mini-album was truly remarkable. It managed to sell more than 1,705,293 copies in South Korea just a week after its debut and reached second place on the Circle Album Chart. This impressive sales figure and high chart position made it one of the top-selling K-pop albums of the year.
