She suggested he was trying to repair a malfunctioning motor when he slipped and drowned. Approximately two hours later, Lori contacted emergency services (911). During an initial search, authorities were unable to locate Larry, but they persisted in their efforts to find him.

Subsequently, following Larry Isenberg’s suspected drowning, authorities apprehended Lori on charges of embezzlement. She was accused of numerous instances of forgery and theft, having misappropriated hundreds of thousands of dollars from NIHC.
