As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to announce that Uhm Tae-Goo, the charismatic star from “My Sweet Mobster,” is gracing our screens on the talk show “You Quiz on the Block” this August 2024! This time around, he’ll be discussing his recent journey filming his latest K-drama character, Seo Ji-Hwan. I can hardly wait to hear about his experiences behind the scenes!
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 8:45 p.m. KST, the episode of “The You Quiz on the Block” featuring Uhm Tae-Goo You will be aired. This talk show will stream on the tvN YouTube channel. Joining Uhm Tae-Goo You will be hosts Jo Se-Ho and Yoo Jae-Suk, along with “Secret Garden” singer Kim Bum-Soo and Cardinal You Heung-Sik.

My Sweet Mobster actor Uhm Tae-Goo to appear on You Quiz on the Block
Actor Uhm Tae-Goo from the series “My Sweet Mobster” will be featured on the show “You Quiz on the Block.” In a new trailer, he discussed his reserved nature and past financial hardships. He revealed that for two years, he couldn’t afford to pay his rent. To earn some income, he even took on snow plowing jobs.
In the 2021 JTBC K-drama, “My Sweet Mobster”, Tae-Goo captivated audiences with his rich baritone voice. The storyline unfolds as an enticing and unforeseen romance blossoms between Seo Ji-Hwan, a reformed gang member, and Go Eun-Ha, a children’s content creator. In this series, Tae-Goo portrays Ji-Hwan, a former criminal, who has since transformed into the CEO of a company. Despite retaining his aloof demeanor, he aids fellow ex-convicts by directing them towards the correct path in life.
However, when his old friend Go Eun-Ha reappears in his life, he becomes more gentle. The series finale will broadcast on August 1, 2024, at 8:50 p.m., on JTBC. Subsequently, Tae-Goo will feature on You Quiz on the Block, available on tvN’s YouTube channel. Stay tuned for further information.
