As a hardcore Dragon Ball fan who grew up with the original series and has been through every arc multiple times, I can confidently say that this latest reveal of characters for Sparking! Zero has got me more hyped than ever! The return of the Budokai Tenkaichi series is like a dream come true, and the inclusion of the Saiyan and Namek Sagas is just icing on the cake.
As the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi series nears its comeback, Sparking! Zero is steadily capturing our attention with each fresh reveal. This week, we were given a sneak peek at the Saiyan and Namek Sagas. Additionally, Bandai Namco unveiled a plethora of characters related to these storylines, all of whom will be playable in the game. Characters such as Raditz, the Ginyu Force, Dodoria, Zarbon, and many others were among those revealed.
As a longtime fan of Dragon Ball Z, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia when Bandai Namco released the trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Saiyan & Namek this week. Growing up with Goku and his friends was an integral part of my childhood, and revisiting those iconic events between Raditz’s arrival to fight Goku and Piccolo, all the way up to when Goku first goes Super Saiyan to defeat Frieza on planet Namek brought back fond memories. The trailer showcases a massive collection of events and even gives some screentime to many of the notable (and even minor) characters involved. It’s clear that Bandai Namco has put a lot of effort into creating an authentic experience for fans like me who grew up with Dragon Ball Z, and I can’t wait to see more.

As a long-time fan of Dragon Ball Z, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming game, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Having grown up watching and re-watching the series countless times, the characters and their epic battles have become an integral part of my life. The fact that this new game is set to release on platforms like PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC only makes it more enticing.
