As a horror aficionado with a penchant for gore and blood-curdling screams, I am beyond excited about the upcoming digital release of “Hayride to Hell“! The film boasts an impressive cast, including genre icons Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley, who have made countless chills run down our spines over the years.
The digital launch date is now confirmed for the chilling horror film “Hayride to Hell,” which features veteran horror stars Kane Hodder from the Friday the 13th series and Bill Moseley known for his roles in The Blob and Army of Darkness.
The movie originally enjoyed a limited theatrical release back in October 2023.
The story unfolds at the Coxe Family Farm, nestled in the heart of Willis County’s countryside. Farmer Sam (Moseley) embarks on a violent quest for justice when crooked townsfolk, led by Sheriff Jubel (Hodder), threaten him and plot to seize the farm that has been his family’s for two centuries.
What’s his method, you ask? He intends to construct a terrifying attraction on his land. If he manages to terrify those who trespass on it, he gets to keep it. When is Hayride to Hell coming to digital?
The horror flick “Hayride to Hell” is set to premiere digitally on September 24, 2024. The independent distributor, Breaking Glass Pictures, has secured the rights to release this movie across North America.
The movie, penned by Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange (Alice and the Vampire Queen, Bloodrunners), was directed by Dan Lantz. Notably, it was filmed on the farm of the writers, located in Pennsylvania.
With Hodder and Moseley, the group is completed by Graham Wolfe, Allyson Malandra, Denise Parella McDonald, Jared Michael Delaney, Shelby Hightower, Melanie Martyn, Brooke Stacy Mills, Aaron Dalla Villa, and Cedric “Budge” Casimiro.
Kane Hodder is mainly recognized for portraying Jason Voorhees in the later Friday the 13th films and Victor Crowley in the Hatchet series. On the other hand, Bill Moseley boasts an extensive horror film resume. He’s featured in Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell, Halloween, and The Devil’s Rejects, but his horror credentials extend further to include roles in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Tom Savini’s Night of the Living Dead, Repo! The Genetic Opera, and Nicolas Cage’s Prisoners of the Ghostland.
