As a long-time fan of FX’s comedy lineup, I am thrilled to learn that Snowflakes has officially received a series order from the network! I have always been captivated by their ability to bring unique and relatable comedies to life, and this new ensemble show seems no exception.
20-something ensemble comedy “Snowflakes,” produced by Nick Kroll, has been given an official series order by FX. This announcement follows approximately three months after the show received a pilot order from the network.
“Snowflakes is a comedy about a twentysomething group of flatmates – Billie, Samir, Anton, Issa, and Paul Baker – striving to be good individuals, even though they’re not quite there yet themselves,” is one way to paraphrase the original logline.
Who is in the Snowflakes cast?
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming series “Snowflakes” will be steered by an exciting ensemble of rising stars: Lucy Freyer as Billie, Malik Elassal as Samir, Owen Thiele as Anton, Amita Rao as Issa, and Jack Innanen as Paul. This dynamic group is poised to captivate us with their performances.
Nick Grad, FX’s boss, expressed his enthusiasm in a statement to Deadline. “We’re thrilled about the remarkable cast and comedy duo we’ve brought together for Snowflakes,” he said. This not only lets us introduce Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw’s hilarious writing style to our viewers, but also allows us to collaborate once more with Nick, Jonathan, and Stefani – all accomplished comedians who have previously shone in FX’s acclaimed comedy series.”

1. Under the leadership of Jonathan Krisel, the pilot was directed. Kroll and Alicia Van Couvering served as executive producers, representing their production company Good at Business, which has a first-look deal with FX Productions. Additionally, Krisel and Karey Dornetto will also serve as executive producers.
