It was a surprise to many that the box office earnings of Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine were so enormous, even though most people had anticipated they would do well.

In the past week, the previous champion, Twisters, took second place with earnings of $35.3 million, a decrease of 57%, bringing its domestic total to $154.9 million. On the other hand, Longlegs, an independent film, has amassed $58.6 million in revenue after only three weeks on the market.

Five: NEON’s “Longlegs” film was screened in 2,732 theaters during its third week, bringing in $2.2 million on Friday, $2.6 million on Saturday, and $1.9 million on Sunday. The three-day total came out to be $6.7 million, which represented a decrease of 43% compared to its previous week’s earnings. The film has amassed a total box office collection of $58.6 million so far in its third week.
