As a die-hard Dhanush fan, I couldn’t be more ecstatic as I witness the release of his much-anticipated film, Raayan! His dedication and passion for his craft are truly inspiring, and it was a heartwarming sight to see him celebrate with fans at the first screening in Chennai.

Today is the premiere of Dhanush’s highly anticipated movie, Raayan, in theaters. This is his second directorial project after Pa Paandi which was released in 2017. To honor this moment, Dhanush graced the first screening of Raayan at Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai on July 26th.

Dhanush was greeted on set by Prakash Raj, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and other colleagues, much to the excitement of fans. The enthusiastic crowd was treated to waves and playful kisses from Dhanush himself.

With great joy, the actor watched the premiere of his 50th film alongside the audience. In a thrilling instant, a fan eagerly climbed up to the balcony to greet Dhanush, who advised him to be careful. In the movie, Dhanush portrays the complex character of Raayan, filled with profound emotion. This gripping tale follows Raayan’s transformative path as he rigorously prepares for revenge against those who took the lives of his loved ones. Consequently, Raayan becomes entangled in the criminal underworld.

With an impressive cast, the film boasts the talents of Prakash Raj, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan, along with other notable actors.

Before the movie hit the theaters, Dhanush paid a visit to the ancient temple in the Theni district to pray for Raayan’s prosperity. He also took to his social media platform to ask for the divine blessings in the form of a photograph.
