As a devoted fan of “Claim to Fame,” I’ve been thoroughly intrigued by the challenges and twists that each episode brings. And the latest episode on June 24 was no exception! The contestants in this season have had quite the journey, with no one yet able to correctly guess anyone else’s celebrity relative. Dedrick, for instance, tried valiantly to keep his true identity a secret, despite some close calls and suspicions.
In the third season of Claim to Fame, achieving recognition hasn’t been a simple task. So far, no contestant has successfully identified their imposter, making it challenging for those assigned this role. For the unfortunate souls chosen to be correct or face elimination, this pattern held true during the episode broadcasted on June 24.
In the episode, it became clear that Dedrick struggled to suppress the suspicion that his famous family member might be Michael Jackson. This was primarily caused by an error towards the end of the first episode, which Naomi pointed out. On the other hand, Adam believed it could also be Little Richard, going against Dedrick’s firm denial. This speculation arose after they discussed potential relatives during a conversation.
Additionally, after Miguel’s deceitful actions were exposed, the other housemates were ready for him to leave. Did he ultimately find himself in the bottom two? This outcome came about due to a misunderstanding or miscommunication, much like a game of telephone.
Although Adam got hurt during the match, his team emerged victorious, sparing team captain Danny from being removed. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for Miguel’s team. He struggled with the limerick task and Naomi didn’t grasp one of the clues until near the game’s end.
As the last member of the team, Shane named Miguel as his partner for the elimination round, with him. Miguel sought advice from fellow contestants regarding their guesses, but found it challenging to determine the accuracy of their suggestions.
Mackenzie mistakenly believed there was a connection between Adam and David Schwimmer due to a hint that later proved to be unrelated to Adam. Only Dedrick was privy to this misunderstanding as he had planted the misleading clue himself.
I had some intriguing theories about Dedrick being connected to Michael Jackson, but things took an unexpected turn. Instead, I ended up following a different lead. Unfortunately, when it came down to it, I was tasked with guessing the correct answer and mistakenly believed Dedrick was related to Little Richard instead.
Surprisingly enough, Miguel introduced himself as Raphael, an unexpected relative of renowned actress Jamie Lee Curtis. As it turns out, they share a familial bond, with Jamie being Raphael’s aunt. The acclaimed actress not only goes by this title in her profession but also played a pivotal role in supporting Miguel and his mother, who is Jamie’s half-sister Allegra Curtis.
Miguel came close to shedding tears as he talked about the heartfelt assistance his aunt provided him. Her significance in his life was evident. Regrettably, this led to his elimination. Nonetheless, we’re looking forward to watching the other contestants continue their quest for more hints.
Up until now, no one has managed to correctly guess who is connected to whom. Although Dedrick has successfully convinced a few people that he is related to Michael Jackson, can he keep up the charade now that Danny has received the winner’s clue and discussed it with Shane?
