First The Fantastic Four Cast Photo Unveiled as Production Begins on MCU Reboot

As a die-hard Marvel fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Pedro Pascal shared the first cast photo of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four on his Instagram account! Seeing my favorite superhero team coming together in one place was a surreal moment for me.

Golden Globe-nominated actor Pedro Pascal shared on Instagram the initial photograph of the cast for “The Fantastic Four” as filming commenced at last in London for Marvel Studios’ new adaptation.

Who are in The Fantastic Four cast photo?

A backstage snapshot features Pascal posing with Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, all sporting delightful grins during their initial collaboration. Moreover, The Last of Us star revealed an image of Matt Shakman, the director of WandaVision, who’s set to direct Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four from a script penned by Josh Friedman.

In this version of the film, Pascal takes on the role of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Kirby is cast as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Moss-Bachrach portrays Ben Grimm/The Thing. Julia Garner from “Ozark” joins as a unique interpretation of the Silver Surfer named Shalla-Bal. Ralph Ineson, known for his work in “Harry Potter,” is set to bring Galactus to life. Additionally, John Malkovich (“Places in the Heart”), Paul Walter Hauser (“Black Bird”), and Natasha Lyonne (“The Russian Doll”) are included in unspecified roles. The team was introduced via a Valentine’s Day poster, which may suggest a 1960s setting. The artwork also hints at the arrival of the team’s faithful robot companion H.E.R.B.I.E.

The Fantastic Four from Marvel Studios is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, as a new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s sixth phase.
