My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 recap
In the eleventh episode of My Hero Academia, the story continued immediately after the events of the previous installment. Bakugo had been seized by Shigaraki, leaving Deku en route to the battlefield. Aizawa implored the professional heroes to safeguard Bakugo, reminding them that he was about to graduate and would become an excellent hero himself. In response, U.A.’s top trio – Nejire, Mirio, and Tamaki – took it upon themselves to stall until Deku arrived on the scene.
Three companions executed an impressive team maneuver, enabling Mirio to save Bakugo from the clutches of danger. But the grotesque and unusual expansion of the villains obstructed their progress. Jeanist hastened to Bakugo’s side and discovered him still engaged in combat with Shigaraki within his own psyche, despite his wounds. Mirio hit a sensitive spot with Shigaraki, reminding him that if he had companions, he wouldn’t be in such a state.
In the following scene, it was disclosed that Shigaraki wasn’t completely seizing control, as Tenko Shimura was somehow still present within him. Shifting his focus once more to Bakugo, Shigaraki was met with resistance from Nejire and Mirio. Nejire activated Tamaki’s quirk, Manifest, a limitless ability. Using it, Tamaki targeted the villain, annihilating the emerging arms and damaging the barrier.
Despite the efforts of Bakugo and his supporters, Shigaraki remained unharmed. When Bakugo re-entered the fight, his quirk had advanced, providing him with an extraordinary increase in speed. He employed this newfound velocity to assault Shigaraki, but everyone was pushed back in the process. Regrettably, Shigaraki managed to pierce Bakugo’s heart as the episode came to a close.
